Winter Passes

Snoqualmie WA, Homestake MT, Lookout Pass MT/ID, and the Chicago-to-Buffalo lake-effect belt all see multi-day closures. Chain requirements are frequent Nov–Apr.

Tolls

Illinois (ISTHA), Indiana (ITR), Ohio (OTC), NY Thruway, and Mass Pike form a nearly continuous toll spine east of Chicago. Bestpass covers all.
