Freight Character

West of Dallas: heavy oilfield and frac-sand traffic — expect slow-moving heavy haul and permit loads. East of Atlanta: general freight and Port of Savannah drayage.

Northern MS/AL prone to ice storms Dec–Feb. Atlanta rush hour is severe; time your I-20/I-285 interchange outside 6–9am and 4–7pm.
