Cincinnati/Northern KY hills ice frequently. Jellico Mountain (TN/KY line) has a 6% grade with runaway ramps. Florida sees hurricane evacuation contraflow Jun–Nov.

Detroit metro, Findlay OH, Georgetown KY, Chattanooga, Macon GA, Ocala FL. Southern GA between Macon and Valdosta is a known parking-desert stretch.
