Clean Truck Rule

Only 2014 or newer engines can enter port terminals. Zero-emission mandates phasing in through 2035. Check portcheck.polb.com before dispatching.

Terminal Appointments

Both POLA and POLB require appointments at most terminals. Use PierPass eModal for booking. Off-peak (evening/weekend) reduces fees.

Chassis

Chassis pools operate at POLA/POLB. Verify chassis availability before dispatching — mismatched chassis is a top cause of dry runs.

Parking

Basin parking is essentially non-existent overnight. Plan HOS to exit the basin before running out. Ontario, Fontana, and Barstow are the closest large parking clusters.
