A standardized rate confirmation protects both carrier and broker. This template covers every field you need — including detention terms most cons omit.

Required Fields

Broker MC, carrier MC, load number, pickup address + appointment, delivery address + appointment, commodity, weight, rate, payment terms (net-X), detention rate + free time, TONU rate, and lumper/handling responsibility.

Contract Terms

Governing law, dispute resolution, insurance requirements (auto liability $1M min, cargo $100k min typical), and lien language.

Signatures

Both parties sign. Digital signature via DocuSign or similar is acceptable and legally binding under E-SIGN Act.
